The Fall of Yellow

Lingering about in the inflammation lobby, often triggered by an environmental or nutritional factor, the carcinogenic Collection Agent gathers his Karma Debt. He represents a chronic inflammatory process that is predisposed to a multitude of degenerative disorders, diseases and cancer. Of which I am in need of collection. Retrieve me and place me back on the shelf.

I could no longer reach under the counter and take out the garbage. Thats what the Collection Agent does. Is for. He will never let you forget how bad it stinks.  How bad you stink. How Yellow you will be. The Collection Agent is in cahoots with the Credit Bureau. They sneak around and gather under tables and in back alleys. Everyone considers them the lowest of the low. They are not Yellow like the rest of us. They do bad things to Yellow.

Content Yellow has undergone gene therapy in clinical trials. Kettle drums filled with mayonaise. Well into the future, Yellow will be unrecognizable by the Collection Agent and the Bureau. Yellow will be Orange or Ocre. Yellow will be incognito. If the Bureau irritates Yellow, Yellow will become Red. This would be the final stage of the condition. Yellow turns Red and is reclassified as Stage 4. Red trumps the Collection Agent and severes all ties between him and the Credit Bureau. The Score will be settled soon enough. The Credit Bureau has been deploying genetically designed biological control agents to identify, track down, and isolate Yellow. Yellow is considered a cancer. Yellow must be wiped out and replaced with an exact duplicate. What we are. Duplicate. Triplicate. We will all be replaced. Yellow will be replaced. It will look like Yellow but it will not be Yellow.

The Collection Agents have infiltrated virtually all of Yellow's bone marrow. Holes have been punched out of Yellow's bones. Swiss Cheese. Antibodies are no longer being secreted and Yellow's immune system has been severly compromised. No one can pinpoint the exact cause or location of the cellular change. Yellow is on the verge of collapse. Process Servers are injecting abnormal amounts of proteins into the osteolytic lesions in Yellow's skeletal structure. Yellow has been subpoenaed. The court date has been set and council is preparing their deliberation. I am scheduled to appear before the Bureua's tribunal. I am guilty of Yellow. I am guilty of the poverty that Yellow suffers. The poverty that targets Yellow as a threat to the replicated society built by the Bureau. A threat to the perfect world that the Bureau has constructed.

I am told not to worry. The Process Servers have assured me that everything is being done to preserve the original Yellow. The Collection Agents are doing everything in their power to enhance the trasition from original to copy. To ensure that the migration from original to duplicate to triplicate is carried out in a most seemless manner. The Bureau is certain that noone will ever be able to tell the difference between original Yellow and the copies. I am told that I will be moved to a safe place. I will be put in the same place as the original Yellow. Yellow is assured that it will be well cared for. Yellow has been told not to worry. I will be with Yellow.

As each Yellow genome is replicated, it is spliced into the main terminal and fowarded on to overseas distribution centers. There it will be packaged into a virus particle. The virus then becomes enveloped with a lipid membrane as it transits the nucleus and the cytoplasm to exit the cell. Once this process is complete, original Yellow will be rendered dormant and sent into space. I will be sent into space with Yellow. Yellow and I will be replaced in duplicate and triplicate.

The Credit Bureau will be responsible for releasing the viral genome. This verion will be packaged into an infectious viruse as a linear molecule.The Collection Agents will then recircularize the copies of Yellow through a process that appears to involve homologous recombination. The systemic malignancy of the plasma cells will secrete part of a monoclonal antibody which will imitate a linear molecule set off from the episome. Ionizing radiation sources found in health care facilities, research institutions, and nuclear reactors pose a considerable health risk to affected copies of Yellow. Duplicates and triplicates of Yellow will remain at risk. One of the responsibilities of the Process Server is to maintain regulatory information regarding the recognition, evaluation, and control of occupational health hazards associated with ionizing radiation. Too much radiation will turn the duplicates and triplicates of Yellow brown. Original Yellow can be brown. Original Yellow can be orange. I can be brown or orange because I am Yellow.

The Collection Agent compromises a special breed of low on the Credit Bureau's payroll. Every org needs a low man. That would be me full of pain medication force fed by the Bureau. No I am not not a CA. Nor am I a Process Server. I am Yellow. Sick now. Pumped full of Bureau dope. My benefit package as deserved from a lifetime of work is denied. I have been kicked to the curb of diminishing credit with no other choice than to assist the overzealous Bureau in their attempt to eradicate Yellow. Thats how it all comes down. Thats how it works. Climb over them. Leave footprints on their backs.

Beneath the CA on the Bureau's totem lies the Process Server. Nothing more than a dark-winged fungus gnat. A nuisance when present. Noticeable around large populations of Yellow. Their larvae feeds on Yellow. They pupate in working class neighborhoods. They develop rapidly and are fully grown in two to three weeks. They are voted for and elected into office. Often times by Yellow themselves. These pesty gnats come right to the front door. Most of the time they use their own car. Single job requirement. Special delivery. An entry level position.

Process Servers are weak fliers, typically flying in short, erratic patterns. They are the organic tracking drones of the Bureau, working closely with the Collection Agent. They are not easily spotted by Yellow. They do not stand out in a crowd. They are a necessary evil. They are recruited from the ranks of beaten down Yellow who have recanted. Traitor Yellow. Mutant Yellow. Fallen Yellow needs saving. Fallen Yellow needs healing.

Content Yellow fights back with the nicotine derived systemic insecticide called imidacloprid. It is administered by means of aerosole sprays carrying low-release spikes of the poison. When effective, the results are convulsions, paralysis, and eventually death of the Process Server. Yellow places wedges of potato in strategic locations to attract the Process Server. When active Process Servers knock on Yellow's door they are distracted by the presence of the nearby potato slice where they deposit their larvae. Process Server larvae is more noticeable during cooler weather when Yellow spends more time indoors. This improved visibility increases the likelihood that these dark-winged fungus gnat Process Servers will be easily noticed. Once spotted, entire colonies of PS larvae are wiped out with a single mist. A victory for Yellow slows the pace but cannot stop the war.

The Bureau pursues the hunt of Yellow. Everybody must pay. When assets change hands the Bureau takes it's cut. Always. Every time. There are no exceptions and no excuses. The less Yellow has, the more Yellow must pay. In the end Yellow will pay with blood. Blood money sniffed out by the Collection Agent, located by the Process Server, and collected through the Credit Bureau court system.
